Winnmere Family Theater is open to 8th graders and above. Members get the opportunity for hands-on experience in all aspects of theater, including performing, stage management, lighting, sound, set construction, house management . . . all the jobs that are required to get a show up and running. WFT yearly projects include design, construction and performance of two full-length productions, touring productions to local schools, and field trips to area theaters, competitions and conventions. Past shows include The Laramie Project, Reviving Ophelia, Oliver!, To See the Stars, Candid, Grease, Bang Bang You're Dead, Babes in Toyland, Winners, Babes in Arms, Voices from the High School, and Tales from the Arabian Nights.
